Hi, I’m Kelby. I’m based in Portland, OR and currently work for NV5 Geospatial as a GIS Technician on NOAA’s Coastal Change Analysis Program. My work has won awards including the NACIS Undergraduate Student Scholarship, the Undergraduate Anthropology Paper of the Year Award, and the Undergraduate Asian Studies Poster Award. I have deep experience in field and lab research as well as scientific writing.

 

My dream job is to make maps communicating scientific and anthropological stories. My backgrounds in cartography, archaeology, and my ability to see stories where others don’t prepare me for that work. 

 

In my free time, I can be found cycling and listening to Charli XCX on repeat.
